This week LG finally confirmed it's ending its phone-making run, after nearly 20 years in the business. LG will stop making smartphones, but it has promised that it will support its premium phones (specifically G and V series devices, released after 2019) for up to three Android OS updates. Meanwhile we saw high-quality renders of Huawei's upcoming P50 smartphone and an image in the wild of an apparent P50 prototype.
