Google Meet gets AI noise cancellation to take on Zoom

Google Meet (formerly Hangouts Meet) is Google's video conferencing alternative to the likes of Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Back in April Google announced it's bringing in-app noise cancellation to Meet and now we got a live demo that showcases the feature thanks to Serge Lachapelle who serves as the Product Management Director of G Suite. The "denoiser" feature uses machine learning to suppress outside sounds which aren't speech during calls.
